One Day. MINI Garage Melbourne Launch

My Friday night in Melbourne was made a little more exciting this weekend by an invitation to an exclusive event... of the MINI variety.

We donned our finest and headed for Kings Way where we celebrated the opening of MINI Garage Melbourne's brand new showroom. Amidst champagne, canapes and music, we took a tour of the impressive expanse with Matt the dealer manager. Vaulted ceilings, wide windows and, of course, plenty of MINIs made for a truly impressive experience.

Ever since The Italian Job, I've had my eye on a MINI. Zippy, compact but oh-so-sophisticated. It's the whole package really, and a dream for inner-city driving. I mean, who wants to parallel park a Range Rover on Little Bourke St?...

Having thoroughly taken in all the models, including this gorgeous vintage '90s baby, I came to decide that the convertible is the one for me. Great Ocean Road with the top down here I come! At least a girl can dream...

And for those looking for a little more room, the brand new Countryman packs all the style of the Cooper, with a little extra leg room... How about that luxury interior?

We mixed and mingled til the sun set, departing with starry eyes and a new lust for roadtrip adventures. Thanks for a great event MINI, I hope you consider your new showroom thoroughly warmed!
