Eat Me. Charlie Dumpling, Windsor

I'm never one to say no to a dumpling... and I'm guessing neither are you. So I think you're going to like this place.

Sitting amongst Chapel St's endless dining choices, you'll find Charlie Dumpling on High St. Reasonably surreptitious from the front, step inside and you'll find this hotspot packed with personality. From wooden shutters to bold, bright artwork; in a word it's vibrant.

With our January health resolutions firmly thrown at the window we set about ordering quite the selection from the menu. Some edamame to get us started, obviously, followed by 'The Chimichanga' which is salmon tartare, rice and nori tacos to stuff to your heart's content.

I'm really into these seaweed tacos. They seem to be popping up everywhere!...

Next, a little round of baos. Prawn with pineapple and pork with chilli mayo. Bao-ry good!

Then for the star, some dumplings. I can highly recommend the pearly chicken dumplings with crispy skin. We also opted for the wagyu cheeseburger out of curiosity but it was a little too left-of-centre for me. Think American-ified dumplings. Don't go there.

We didn't order any salads but I caught a glimpse of one at the next table and I must say it looked good, so maybe add that to your order!

Great for a mid-week feast, bring your bestie and an empty stomach. Who knows, maybe I'll see you there!
